Join the Seattle Public Library for an entertaining and insightful preview lecture presented by Seattle Opera Education Department staff. This is a free event. Everyone is welcome. Registration is not required. At each preview, members of Seattle Opera’s education staff will lead informal talks designed to to answer questions and provide background information on the upcoming opera. Doors will open 15 minutes before each program. Look up times and dates for the opera previews in SPL’s Calendar of Events.
2012 schedule of previews for The Seattle Public Library will host Seattle Opera previews of Puccini’s “Madame Butterfly” at five Library locations, April 19 – May 3:
- Thursday, Apr. 19, 2012, 2:00-3:00 pm at the Green Lake Branch
- Monday, Apr. 23, 2012, 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the West Seattle Branch
- Tuesday, Apr. 24, 2012 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Northeast Branch
- Wednesday, May. 2, 2012, 2 – 3 p.m. at the Ballard Branch
- Thursday, May. 3, 2012, 12 – 1 p.m. at the Central Library
