New Year’s Day Polar Bear Plunge at Matthews Beach

The best way to celebrate the New Year is at the Polar Bear Plunge at Matthews Beach! Jump in Lake Washington with everyone else that is crazy enough to do it! We jump in the water together at High Noon!

Costumes encouraged! A special edition Badge of Courage will be awarded to everyone that goes in up to their necks!

Plan on getting there early for photos and fun mingling with the crowd. Parking is very sparse so try to carpool, walk or bus-it. Friday, January 1, 2010, 11am – 1pm. Matthews Beach, 49th Ave NE & NE 93rd ST,
