Wine Enthusiast (WE) magazine’s Top 100 Best Buys of 2011 is their antidote to rising wine prices. All of these wines carry a suggested retail prices of $15 or less, which makes it a list of brands, worldwide regions, and varieties you can count on to keep you–and your wallet–happy in 2012.
Over the past 12 months, WE tasting panelists reviewed more than 16,000 wines, granting the coveted Best Buy designation to only 1,224 (7.6%). This list is whittled down to the Top 100, based on the score, price, availability, … and … buzz. There is something for every style, variety and origin. The list for 2011 is one of the finest and most eclectic collections of Best Buys and WE’s continuing effort to find the wine world’s best values.

Register to participate in the next Purge Party Fabric Consignment Sale –the ultimate blow-out fabric recycle event. Items can include, but are not limited to: fabric, fabric scraps, fiber, textiles, yarns, thread, notions, sewing machines, beads, scrapbooking and beading supplies, etc.; no finished products (i.e., purses, hats, etc.,) are allowed. Items must be in good to excellent condition. Fabrics must be free of odors (e.g., smoke), dust, etc. This is an experience like no other with earnings up to 70% of your sales. Events are held in the Spring and Fall at designated locations open to the general public. Register and pay the nominal admission fee early to make sure there is space available for your items. Fremont Oktoberfest is Seattle’s Fall Tradition in the “Center of the Universe” Fremont, Washington. Voted by USA Today and Orbitz.com as one of the top places to toast Oktoberfest, this three-day festival features a Tasting Garden, live music, Kids Area, a 5K Run, and plenty of other activities.
