Join Unexpected Productions funniest Christmas Show in Seattle! Get away from your family – or bring them along! First performed in 1985, A(n Improvised) Christmas Carol brings Charles Dickens’s Christmas classic to the stage with a twist! What if Scrooge owned a pet store? What if the Ghost of Christmas Past was a Film Noir detective? What if Tiny Tim wasn’t so tiny? The audience gives suggestions up front, and UP’s improvisers use these suggestions to tell an all new tale of how Christmas can (or can’t!) change Ebeneezer Scrooge’s life! This is a great show for families, shoppers, tourists, and audience members of all ages!

Volunteer at the Moisture Festival, featuring the best in local, national and international artists of Comedy/Varietè. With each great show there are important jobs that must be done to make sure the show runs smoothly and that the audience is happy. Most volunteers help with the daily set-up and clean-up for each show. We make sure the theater is set and stocked, prepped for aerial acts and special performances, and kept sparkling.
For more information visit Moisture Festival volunteer information.
Comedy/Varietè is an intriguing assortment of entertainment performed by highly skilled aerialists, jugglers, comedians, dancers, rope acts, bubble acts, clowns, acrobats, can-can girls, strong women, strong men, tap dancers, drill teams, musical numbers, and the weird and the wonderful–all keeping the tradition of Comedy/Varietè/Vaudeville alive.
