Hothouse Spa was created to provide an affordable spa experience for women only in a quiet, meditative atmosphere.
Located on Capitol Hill in Seattle, it is a peaceful, relaxing, healing place. Hothouse Spa is a place to soothe your body and free your mind, just steps away from the frenetic pulse of the city. There are no private rooms. Bathing suits may be worn but are not encouraged.
About Hothouse Spa in Seattle
Hours: Open noon-midnight; closed Tuesdays.
Prices: $18 per visit includes hot tub, sauna, steam room, cold plunge, relaxation area, filtered drinking water, and showers. Towel rental is $1 each, or bring your own. It is recommended that you use two towels: one to sit and sweat on, and one to get squeaky clean when you’re done. (Sitting on a towel is required for your personal health and hygiene, and for the cleanliness of the spa.) Locker rental is $1, refunded when the lock is returned. Large groups may rent the space for private parties; a deposit is required ahead of time.
Discount visits and towels: $150 punch card for 10 visits includes one towel per visit, which saves you $40.
Massage: Available at additional charge, beginning at $32 for 15 minutes. Hothouse has one massage room with one massage therapist available during all business hours. Massage reservations are not required, but are recommended.
Things to Know about Hothouse Spa
Hothouse is for all women, age 14 or older.
Reservations are not taken for the spa. During winter months consider coming early or late in the day. A full house is common during peak hours of 6 – 9pm.
Bring your own plastic water bottle and to fill up with filtered drinking water. It is recommended to drink plenty of water to prevent dehydration.
Hothouse is a shared space. Bathing suits may be worn but are not encouraged.
