REI Co-op one-day 85th anniversary celebration features immersive displays and experiences about REI and Seattle’s shared history beginning with the first 23 members in 1938. Get a behind-the-scenes look at REI’s history, from its community building to the industry-defining gear innovation that blazed new trails. There will be immersive installations celebrating those who helped build the co-op, KEXP DJ Larry Mizell, Jr. will be spinning tunes, and there will be fancy cupcakes, too!
