As of February 7, 2022, The Auburn Adventure Film Festival is still suspended until further notice.
The Auburn Adventure Film Festival showcases short films, documentaries, and feature films and is designed to draw the audience into each film by offering unique and interactive “companion” experiences in the first film festival endeavor of its kind. For over 30 years, the Auburn Avenue Theater has presented a diversity of live performances, including Broadway musicals, mystery theater, children’s theater, and concerts in the heart of downtown Auburn. The theater building itself is over 80 years old. The first structure to occupy the property over 100 years ago was a carriage house for horses, then replaced with the city’s bus depot as horse-and-buggy travel gave way to automobile transportation. It was converted to a movie house in the 1940s and transformed again in mid-70s into a performing arts theater venue. Single tickets are $10, opening/closing ceremonies are $5/each, and the all-inclusive festival pass is $50. More info: Auburn Adventure Film Festival – City of Auburn (auburnwa.gov)
