Zines, shortened from the word “magazines”, are DIY handmade self-published booklets. The content has no limits; it can be serious or light-hearted, composed of hand-written stories or cartoons, created from computer printouts or a collage of found images, and bound simply with staples or using more elaborate techniques (such as yarn). The design and content is determined by the creativity of the creator. More info: Zine Making Workshop with Dani Gray | Kitsap Regional Library (krl.org)
