Located south of Seattle and east of Tacoma in the shadow of majestic Mount Rainier, the Washington State Fair Events Center comprises over 160 acres. The facilities are available for rent during the year.
Washington State Fair (formerly known as the Puyallup Fair) is the largest single attraction held annually in the state of Washington. The Fair continually ranks as one of the largest fairs in the world.

2022 Spring Fair in Puyallup
Where: Washington State Fair Events Center (about 35 miles south of Seattle), 110 9th Ave SW, Puyallup, WA 98371.
When: April 14-16 & 21-24, 2022. Thursdays: 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm. Fridays & Saturdays: 10:00 am – 10:00 pm. Sundays: 10:00 am – 8:00 pm
Tickets: Weekday $12/online, $13/gate. Weekend $14/online, $15/gate. Discount on advance purchase before opening day: $12 any day.
FREE admission days:
- Thursday, April 14 – Opening Day Food Drive. All ages FREE admission from 2 pm-4 pm. Kids 18 & under FREE admission ALL DAY, with a suggested non-perishable food donation for the Puyallup Food Bank. No coupon required.
- Friday, April 15 – Military Appreciation Day – FREE admission for all active, reserve, retired military, disabled veterans, and National Guard AND their dependents, with valid military ID at any Fair gate.
- Thursday, April 21 – Kids 18 & under FREE admission all day.

2022 Washington State Fair
The Washington State Fair (formerly the Puyallup Fair) is one of the biggest fairs in the world, the largest in the Pacific Northwest, and the largest single event in Washington State. The Fair started in 1900 in Puyallup and today welcomes over a million guests each year with star-studded entertainment, the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) Rodeo, carnival rides, fair food, and farm exhibits and animals.

When: The 20-day event kicks off Friday of Labor Day weekend. September 2-25, 2022. (Closed Tuesdays and Wednesday, Sept 7, 2022)

Regular admission (2020 prices): Adult (ages 13 – 61) weekday $14, weekend $16. Seniors 62+ and children (6-12) weekday $12, weekend $13. Children 5 & under: FREE
Discount ticket: save $1 with advance online purchase before opening day.

2021 Holiday Magic at Washington State Fairgrounds
The Washington State Fair is excited to bring back Holiday Magic, a festive walk-thru holiday experience. Enjoy a wonder-filled stroll through magical lights and festive displays. This year’s event will feature more light displays, interactive exhibits, and an ice skating rink. Don’t miss this magical holiday experience that includes festive food and drink and fun for the whole family.
This event began in 2020, as a safe innovative way to bring cheer. This year’s event is bigger, better and brighter featuring a Night Market, live nativity animals, and more! See the Hometown Holiday Forest, Light Tunnels, ChillVille, and the new Yeti Bar & Fire Pit (21+). Whether age two or 92, fun and wonder await!
