Join printmaker, book artist, and provocateur Amos Paul Kennedy, Jr. in the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art (BIMA) classroom for a special letterpress print-in. All are welcome to drop in and observe the transformative process of community members creating powerful posters out of words and images using wood type, linoleum blocks, and ink. Press Kits assembled by Partners in Print, featuring Provisional Presses, will be featured during this event. This special event with Amos Kennedy and his evening talk at 6:30pm in the Auditorium coincides with BIMA’s exhibition of Kennedy’s Rosa Parks Series, on view in the Orientation Gallery from December 7, 2022 – February 28, 2023. Museum admission is free in 2023. More info: Classroom Printing Session with Amos Kennedy – Bainbridge Island Museum of Art (biartmuseum.org)
