Do something exciting for yourself, this year. Get your amateur radio “ham” license. Ham radios are great for Emergency preparedness and while hiking, camping, and boating. When the earth shakes, power goes out and phones stop working, But you will be prepared with a two-way radio to communicate without the internet or a phone. Talk around the world on a radio that cost only $50. This amateur radio class is for anyone with little or no radio knowledge. Seven-year-olds have passed the test. Many families attend together.
