All spots are filled. However, MOF states that non-painting volunteers needed to support the event.
Help Museum of Flight paint a mural on the side of their building. As part of the new MOF exhibition Art+Flight, you can help paint a mural on the side of their Collections Storage building. Through a partnership with Urban Artworks, local muralist Esmeralda Vasquez created a custom design within the concept of freedom and flight. The mural will be paint-by-numbers style where the outline of the design is applied ahead of time and then YOU get to paint it! It is friendly for painters of all skill levels, so come on out with your family and friends and join in on the fun. Seattle’s Home for Dance will provide some beats while you paint and they’ll have food trucks pulled up if anyone needs a snack. Mural painting is all ages and FREE to participate. All painters who sign-up will receive complimentary Museum admission for the day. Registration is required and space is limited, so sign up asap. (There were still several spots left at publication time.) More info: Community Mural Project | The Museum of Flight
