Trumpeter, composer, and recording artist Jun Iida has quickly established himself as a highly sought after musician on the West Coast. As the son of Japanese immigrants, Iida was exposed to a variety of musical genres from a young age during his upbringing in Pittsburgh. In particular, Iida developed a deep interest and passion for jazz and improvisatory music. He went on to study under the tutelage of established jazz educator and composer Paul Ferguson in Cleveland before settling in Los Angeles in 2015, where he began actively performing with his sextet. In 2020, he relocated to Seattle, where he quickly established himself in Pacific Northwest music scene. Jacqueline Tabor opens the evening. The Royal Room is All Ages until 10pm. Seating for non-diners is first come, first served. Arrive early to get the best seats. Table reservations require advance tickets and are only for guests who plan to dine at the Royal Room.
