Classical guitarist Mark Hilliard Wilson invites you to join him for a virtual concert exploring the theme of togetherness. Mark will have been in quarantine for 65 days by the time he starts this performance on May 15th at 7:30 PT. It is important to take care of the body, and social distancing has proven to be effective in limiting the spread of the virus Covid 19. Seattle’s loss of life has not reached the dramatic number that was worried about at the start of the quarantine, but we do need to acknowledge the care of the heart and the mind. Mark’s program will explore the theme of togetherness across genres and feature music for the audience to listen to, reflect on, participate in, and at the end, share their thoughts on in this unique concert experience. The program will feature works by Paul Simon and Mauro Giuliani; tango music and lyric pieces by Argentine masters of the guitar Quique Sinesi and Carlos Moscardini; some of Mark Hilliard Wilson’s own pieces; and some delightful selections from the French Baroque.
