Perfect for everybody and every body, Zumba is designed for people of all levels. Zumba is a total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome. Better yet, Zumba takes the “work” out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and world rhythms take over, you’ll see why Zumba Fitness classes are often called “exercise in disguise”. Super effective? Check. Super fun? Check and check. You will need about 4″ x 4″ of space to do these workouts safely. Working out on carpeting is recommended but not required. suggested clothing: comfortable, non-restrictive clothes, supportive shoes, water nearby, and a towel. *FREE and open to all UW students, faculty/staff, family, friends, and anyone else who needs support during this time.
