The Hot Seat (Fireside Chat) is a moderated conversation featuring leaders and influencers from the business community and public sector. By highlighting stories of success (primarily from women and people of color), this event is designed to be an inspirational, mentorial resource for entrepreneurs and professionals. The Hot Seat is hosted by Rubelyn Chu, Co-Founder of Access2 in Seattle, a sourcing and staffing marketplace. Tonight’s guest is Ish Verduzco, a first-gen college grad from a humble Mexican American family in Los Angeles. He graduated from the University of California Merced with a degree in Management, has worked at LinkedIn, Snapchat, and now leads growth and marketing at Crave It. Aside from his professional career, he makes it a point to serve as a voice for people from underrepresented groups, elevating these communities through books, speaking engagements, and his blog “Get Ish Done”. Additionally, he’s the author of the best-selling book, “How Successful People Get Ish Done: A 7-Step Framework to Achieve Your Goals”.
