Try your Irish luck as you and your family (2 legged or 4 legged) stroll the Bayview Trail looking for lucky horse shoes, shamrocks, and rainbows following the clues to the pot of gold. Bayview Trail is a segment of paved trail that runs along a powerline corridor in Marysville, WA. This trail stretches between 64th St. NE and 84th St. NE. The asphalt trail has soft hills to enjoy with exceptional views of the Marysville basin and Port Gardner Bay. It can be accessed from several points along the way but there is no official parking area, so you will have to park on the street. There is street parking at the northern trailhead but not at the southern trailhead, which is a highway. Walkers, bikers and leashed four legged friends are all invited for this event. Once complete, participants submit their photos (selfies with the signs on the trail or photos of just the signs) to be entered into a prize drawing. Prize basket winners will be announced March 31 (valued at approximately $40). The scavenger hunt takes place from March 4-28. Entry is $5 per family. Participants will be emailed instructions March 4. More info: Facilities • Marysville, WA • CivicEngage (marysvillewa.gov) and Shamrock Walk – Scavenger Hunt (activecommunities.com)
