Join Seattle Maritime Academy for a day of discovering all things maritime! Long before Seattle was a tech town, it was a maritime town. In fact, it still is! At this free community event you can: connect with Academy instructors and staff, learn about maritime training programs, experience the mission bridge simulator, take a 30-minute ride aboard their 82-foot training vessel, try your hand at rowing a small boat, and explore the beautiful waterfront campus. Plus, enjoy food trucks, a live DJ, temporary tattoos, model boat races, and much more. All ages. No pre-registration is required. Limited free street parking is available.
