In conjunction with the EO9066 concert program (see info below), the Seattle Symphony presents a related exhibit in the Octave 9: Raisbeck Music Center at Benaroya Hall. This immersive multi-media exhibit by award-winning filmmaker JJ Gerber — in collaboration with singer, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Kishi Bashi — explores the stories of those impacted by Executive Order 9066, which unlawfully incarcerated thousands of Japanese Americans during the Second World War. The 10-minute self-guided video experience created especially for the interactive screens in Octave 9: Raisbeck Music Center features photography by Dorothea Lange and oral histories supplied by Densho. Exhibit Tickets: $12 general admission; free to EO9066 concert ticket holders on the day of their show (Jan 27 or Jan 29). More info: Pictures of Executive Order 9066 @ Octave 9 | Seattle Symphony
