Since 1986, The Taste of Tacoma® has served as the south sound’s “Ultimate Summer Get Together”. In 2022, the event moved from Point Defiance Park to its new home at the Washington State Fair Events Center in Puyallup. Now known as The Taste Northwest, or simply “The Taste”
The Taste is a culinary experience that celebrates the tastes of Tacoma and the South Sound. This FREE event features over 150 food and specialty vendors, local chef cook-off battles, outdoor beer gardens, live entertainment on three stages, a retro roller rink and more!
