Virtual author talk: Mount Rainier National Park – An Artist’s Tour

Third Place Books is pleased to welcome back exquisite local artist Molly Hashimoto for a presentation on her latest book of artwork, “Mount Rainier National Park: An Artist’s Tour”. (Psst, it makes a great gift!) Author and illustrator of “Birds of the West and Colors of the West”, has created another beautiful look at the natural world in Mount Rainier National Park. Featuring Hashimoto’s watercolor paintings and sketches, this book follows along the national park’s main road to offer an “artist’s tour.” Through evocative anecdotes, natural history, and park history, the book explores the major visitor areas, natural wonders, popular landmarks, and park flora and fauna, including everyone’s favorite, marmots!
