Virtual concert: Handel’s Messiah from Symphony Tacoma

A holiday tradition! Handel’s Messiah is a beloved piece around the world. Its drama and message remain fresh and cross the boundaries of culture, language, and time. This virtual program is designed to present the Messiah in light of our current culture, addressing the challenges and concerns of our time, and sharing the universal themes of hope, justice, comfort and joy. This new performance will utilize pictures and video to bring a distinct “2020” vision to the text, including personal and newsworthy pictures of our lives today as they reflect the texts.
