If you want to get ahead, or stay ahead in today’s competitive business environment, it helps to keep up with trends and technology. TradePub.com offers free business and technology trade magazine subscriptions and technical document downloads.
Trade publications want you to have the information you need to do business effectively. It’s worth it to them to give you the magazine free because you have a genuine need for the information. And, advertisers need a vehicle to deliver their message and products to you. Everybody wins.
Magazine publishers determine the specific requirements needed to receive their publications free of charge. Generally, one or more of the following is required:
- your work requires you to be informed and up-to-date about the subject matter covered by the trade publication
- you need information about the types of products that are advertised or discussed in the trade publication
- you evaluate, recommend and/or purchase types of products that are advertised or discussed in a trade publication.
Publishers are interested in specific job titles and job functions, but may also evaluate and determine qualification based on other criteria in their application form.

Here’s the fine print:
While subscriptions to all the trade publications on the TradePub.com web sites are free, some publications offer a limited “free trial period” followed by a solicitation for a paid subscription should the reader wish to continue receiving the magazine.
When the publisher’s circulation period is over, they may ask you to requalify in order to continue receiving their magazine.
Magazine publishers determine the length of the subscription period for each publication. Most free subscriptions last at least a year. TradePub.com never invoices for subscriptions.
