Downtown Seattle Holiday Lights at Westlake and Occidental Park
Nov 27, 2020 – January 9, 2021. After the Christmas tree lights up the day after Thanksgiving, “Holiday Lights and Delights” presented by Amazon kicks off, where a sleigh’s worth of new experiences awaits you in downtown.
Dazzling holiday-themed light sculptures will come to life in Westlake Park, with more than 80,000 lights shining from larger-than-life installations of presents, arches, trees and more.
New this year, DSA is bringing an augmented reality adventure to designated spots throughout parks, sidewalks and plazas in the downtown Seattle retail core. Look for AR hotspots in and around Westlake Park to discover a hidden world of holiday cheer in downtown Seattle! All it takes is a simple QR code scan. You can participate every day from 10 a.m.–5 p.m.
If exploring all the Holiday Lights makes you hungry, food trucks will be at Westlake Park daily, serving sweet and savory treats.
On the other end of downtown Seattle, Pioneer Square’s Occidental Square will be home to a new 17-foot sparkly tree, as Seattle’s historic neighborhood gets all spruced up with thousands of lights and other seasonal activations.
