About Tilth Alliance
A new organization was born in 2016 when Seattle Tilth, Tilth Producers and Cascade Harvest Coalition merged to become Tilth Alliance–an advocate for an ecologically sound, economically viable and socially equitable food system.
Through classes and workshops, they teach adults and kids how to grow food, compost, garden organically, raise urban livestock, and conserve natural resources. Tilth Alliance also provides Farmer Training & Resources, Soil and Water Stewardship Training (King County), and Online Educational Articles & Resources.
Tilth Edible Plant Sales
Seattle Tilth’s Edible Plant Sales offer Seattle gardeners the largest selection of organically and sustainably grown vegetable starts. Theses events are essential for the discerning vegetable gardener.
New gardeners and old sowers will feel right at home. Browse and get ideas for your garden or purchase plants for this years garden. Tilth educators and informative signs help you choose the best plants for your garden. Admission is FREE.
2018 Seattle Tilth Edible Plant Sales
May 5-6, 9:00am – 3:00pm. Meridian Park, 4850 Meridian Ave. N, Seattle (behind the Good Shepherd Center).
At the edible plant sale, you’ll find dozens of varieties of the best rare and heirloom vegetables, plus an extensive selection of culinary herbs, edible flowers, and drought tolerant perennials. Plants are hand-selected by the Seattle Tilth experts to perform well in our Pacific Northwest climate.
