About Greater Seattle on the Cheap

Looking for free things to do in Seattle, Bellevue, Kirkland, or Redmond? Want to have fun without breaking the bank? Want to find out where to eat for less in Seattle? Or just looking for things to do in Bellevue this weekend? At GreaterSeattle on the Cheap (GSOTC), you’ll find out how to live the good life for less. If you are trying to make your money do all it can, then GSOTC is a site you will want to visit routinely. Or have the deals sent to you as we post them, Subscribe by RSS feed, or subscribe by email.

GSOTC isn’t just about the cheap or inexpensive. It’s about living a life with intent and putting your money where it works best for you. Getting all you can, so-to-speak, whatever the price point is. Therefore, we post “deals” for $40 steak dinners (not cheap, but a good deal) and have featured special dinners costing $80 that support local farms and farmers markets. $80 is not cheap, but where else could you taste a 30-course meal with wine and music from top chefs in the city and contribute to an extremely worthy cause–it would cost twice as much at a fine restaurant, if you could even get such a thing. These types of deals are found under the categoires at the top of the page: Lifestyle/Luxury Living or Make A Difference.

We’ve got plenty of freebies. On the other hand, if you want to know where to go for free, or to spend just $5 or $10 for an evening of entertainment, GSOTC has plenty of deals. Almost half of our postings at any given time are about things to do for free.

So whether you want dirt cheap or you have some bucks and want to make your money work forwards and backwards, visit us often at Greater Seattle on the Cheap.

About Cities on the Cheap

At GSOTC, we focus heavily on local deals and less on deals from national stores and chains–though we post an occasional screaming deal like $1 flip-flops from Old Navy or Free Coffee or Free Tacos from chain stores. We also are an affiliate for programs such as Amazon Associate and Commission Junction which pays us a percentage from items purchased through these ads on our site. We sincerely appreciate your patronage of these ads. For additional details, please see the advertising section on the Terms of Use and Privacy page.

For more national and chain-store deals, keep an eye on the main Cities on the Cheap blog for deals with widespread appeal. Here you can find national deals as well as links to other OnTheCheap cities across the U.S., Canada, The Caribbean, and Europe.

Disclaimer

We post deals as we find them and routinely remove old or re-verify deals. But you know the drill: prices and promotions are subject to change at any time and without notice. It is always wise to call first to see if a bargain is still available.
