If you are trying to make your money do all it can, then GSOTC is a site you will want to visit routinely. GSOTC isn’t just about the cheap or inexpensive. It’s about living a life with intent and putting your money where it works best for you. Getting all you can, so-to-speak, whatever the price point is. Therefore, we post “deals” for $40 steak dinners (not cheap, but a good deal) and have featured special dinners costing $80 that support local farms and farmers markets. $80 is not cheap, but where else could you taste a 30-course meal with wine and music from top chefs in the city and contribute to an extremely worthy cause–it would cost twice as much at a fine restaurant, if you could even get such a thing. We’ve got plenty of freebies. On the other hand, if you want to know where to go for free, or to spend just $5 or $10 for an evening of entertainment, GSOTC has plenty of deals. Almost half of our postings at any given time are about things to do for free.
