Wear your Caribbean colors and bring your flags to the 2026 Caribbean Seafest on Sunday, August 9, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Jimi Hendrix Park.
Caribbean Seafest is a free event bringing together the culturally and linguistically diverse Caribbean community across the Pacific Northwest, along with everyone eager to learn and experience Caribbean cultural expression, for a day of performance and exchange.
The daylong celebration kicks off with a 5K run/walk and features live music and dance, a children’s corner, authentic food, and community connection.
Highlights include:
- Caribbean Seafest Moko Jumbies stilt tradition
- Panamá folklore
- Trinidadian Mas’ “Rags & Flags” design showcase
- Garifuna drumming
- Indigenous ceremony from the Yamaye Guani Taino Peoples

Caribbean Seafest will close out the day with a live performance from Alex Duncan, who brings an authentic and unique blend of reggae, dancehall, and soca to the stage.
