It’s that time of year again!

The Othello Park International Festival takes place on Sunday, August 9, 2026, from 12 until 6 p.m. at Othello Park playground (4351 South Othello Street, Seattle). This free, all-ages community event celebrates the diverse culture, music, and food of Southeast Seattle.

From lion dancers to breakdancers, traditional weaving to modern embroidered apparel, Philly cheesesteak to enchiladas de mole, the Othello Park International Festival has something for you to enjoy. Join together with neighbors and friends to celebrate what makes Southeast Seattle extraordinary: different cultures, together.

Daughters of Royalty drill team
University of Washington’s Bollywood dance team
West African drumming and dance collective
Mexican folklórico dance
Lion dancing
