Get ready to two-step, second line, listen to Zydeco music, and enjoy a bowl of gumbo at Cajun & Creole Fest 2026 in Burlington Green Park (201 E. Meeker Street, Kent) on August 15.
Happening from 1 until 7 p.m., this family-friendly festival brings the vibrant culture of Cajun and Creole traditions to the heart of downtown Kent as the infectious rhythms and rich flavors of Louisiana arrive in the Pacific Northwest. There is no charge for entry, but organizers ask that you register for free tickets.

All the way from Sunset, Louisiana, Grammy Award-winning Curley Taylor and Zydeco Trouble will headline this year’s festival. If they can’t get you jammin’, then no one can!
Zydeco Lowdown will also return this year with their signature high energy performance, as well as dance lessons from Gator Boy Productions.
The popular second line parade will come alive with the America First Corp Band, whose unmatched energy and spirit will lead the crowd into the streets for another unforgettable promenade!
A beer garden, wine tastings, and a play area for kids will also be available.
