South Seattle College’s Northwest Wine Academy is the first and only teaching winery in Western Washington. Their students produce award-winning wines as they work to earn their winemaking credentials. Every part of the process from harvest to fermentation to bottling is student-led, and that passion and dedication comes through in the beautiful flavors they produce.

Every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, visitors are welcome to stop by the Academy from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. for a wine tasting. Tickets are $8 a person for a 4-wine flight, but wine by the glass is also available.

Visitors can also see behind the scenes of their process and visit the barrel room and bottling area (visitation available upon request).
