The Beacon Food Forest is a 7-acre ecological demonstration, learning, and open harvest site that has been cultivated entirely by community volunteers to educate on sustainable growing practices. It is also a project created to envision a future where the urban landscape and nature can work together in harmony to expand access to food and foster food production independence.
Their annual Harvest Fest is an opportunity for the community to come together, fundraise, and enjoy a relaxing day out.

The Harvest Fest is Saturday, September 19, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is FREE and all ages are welcome.
The Beacon Food Forest is located near Jefferson Park between 16th Avenue S and Dakota Street in Seattle, WA 98108.
