Hiraya Cinema is a collaborative effort between Filipinotown Seattle and Diwa Filipino Film Festival to bring Filipino film to Seattle. In October, they’re getting into the spooky spirit with a showcase of three horrifying short films followed by discussion and an open mic.

This showcase will be on Saturday, October 24, from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. (the show starts at 7 p.m., but doors are at 6:30 p.m.). Attendance is FREE, but please RSVP. All attendees must be over 21.
This time, the event is hosted by Drag & Drop Studio at 1227 S Weller St., Ste. B, Seattle, WA 98144.
The films being shown are a secret surprise, but plan for a run time of 43 minutes. Hiraya will provide snacks and they encourage guests to bring their own food as well if they want something specific or have dietary restrictions.
