Join Sevadar Seattle for 2026’s A Day in Punjab on August 1, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Seattle Armory Center.
A Day in Punjab is an annual event celebrating Sikh and Punjabi culture hosted by Sevadar Seattle, an organization committed to illuminating the rich tapestry of Sikh/Punjabi culture for the broader world through collaborative events and volunteer initiatives that highlight art, culture, history, and service.
The theme of this year’s A Day in Punjab is “Sounds of Punjab” and will highlight the diverse and unique sounds of Punjabi culture. The all-day event features rare and traditional musical instrument demonstrations, a “Sounds of Punjab” exhibit, and workshops on how to play traditional Punjabi instruments.

A Day in Punjab will also spotlight Punjabi food, Sikh films and children’s books, turban tying, live bands, vendors, activities for kids and fan-favorite magician, Amasingh Vikram.
