Celebrate all that is fresh, delicious, local, and sustainable in King County at CHOMP! Sustainable Food Festival 2026.
Happening August 15 at Willowmoor Farm inside Marymoor Park, this free event supports King County’s Local Food Initiative by highlighting local farms and farmers; chefs and restaurants using locally-sourced food; local organizations specializing in healthy and affordable foods; farmer and farmland support; sustainability initiatives and social justice.

Happening from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., highlights of the day include:
- Family Fun: Petting zoo, tree climbing, zucchini races, street band parade, and a scavenger hunt
- Local Food: Onsite farmers market and regional food trucks; vendors such as Patty Pan Grill, Seattle Pops, and Boon Boona Coffee
- Green Living: Upcycle bazaars, a free mending station, and sustainability workshops
- Live Music: Performances by Cat Power, Whitney, Lady A, Warren Dunes, and a special appearance by Daniel Tiger
What is a zucchini race, you might ask? This silly, fan-favorite, produce-forward event allows participants to carve, decorate, and attach wheels to oversized zucchinis then race them down a custom track. It’s fun for zucchini racers and spectators alike.
