Washington State farmers markets provide a diversity of fresh produce, including fruits. vegetables, herbs, and flowers (edible and otherwise). You can also find other locally grown products, including meats, poultry, fish and shellfish, eggs, and a wide variety of value added-farm products such as preserves, ciders and wine, cheese and many other delicious foods.
Most seasonal Seattle farmers markets operate from June to September. A few open in May and stay open through the holidays in November and December. For farmers markets in other cities and communities around Puget Sound, or other parts of Washington State, visit the Washington State food & farm finder.
Most farmers markets accept cash, credit/debit cards, EBT cards, SNAP/Basic Food, SNAP Market Match, and Fresh Bucks. Individual market vendors may vary. Some markets also allow you to purchase market tokens from the market manager to use as cash to purchase market goods. Cash in small bills is always appreciated.
