Festival Sundiata Black Arts Festival is back for its 46th year at Seattle Center! This free, family-friendly festival highlights all art forms from the African diaspora and will run from 1 until 8 p.m. on August 22 and August 23, 2026.
Festival Sundiata not only celebrates the arts, but educates the community about people of African descent who form a melting pot of cultures and ethnicities. The festival will feature music and spoken word performances, the Taste of Sundiata food hall, market vendors, an incredible art sale, drill team exhibitions, and much more.
