Art galleries may open for Phase 2 of Washington State’s Safe Start plan. Some art walks have re-opened but there may be a mix of in-person and virtual experiences. Some art galleries have virtual exhibitions, some are by appointment only, and others are open to the public. If you plan to go, check the links to confirm details.
Or, just go and stroll the neighborhood, window shop, and see what wonderments may appear to you. Stay for a sip or a nosh at an agreeable café or grab something to go before you head home. That’s what art is all about, anyway.
Discovery. Contemplation. Arousal. And everything in-between.
Art walks happen almost every weekend somewhere in the Seattle-Tacoma metro area. During these events, nearby merchants often offer specials on food, drinks, gifts, and other fun. Scan the list below for a day and place near you–or plan a staycation to explore a new neighborhood or city through it’s vibrant art community. Before you go, be sure to visit the website for each of the art walks you plan to visit for specific information such as current highlights, as well as maps and directions.
