Short Run Comix Festival

Whether you make comics or you’re just a fan, the Short Run Comix Festival will have something for you. Over 200 artists, distributors, publishers, and other industry professionals will be tabling and offering their creations and services. Wander the booths, attend special programming from professionals and experts, and support local, national, and even international artists. 

The Festival will take place on Saturday, November 7, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Entry is FREE and the first 50 attendees get swag bags. 

The Festival will be at the Seattle Design Center at 5701 6th Ave. S, Seattle, WA 98108.

Activities

• Shop from vendors and buy from small artists. 
• Attend “The Short Talk” presentations every hour on the skybridge and “The Long Talk” presentations across the street at the Friends of Seattle Public Library physical location. 
• Attend presentations from a Library of Congress librarian and Robin McConnell, a panel discussion with Shout Your Abortion, and other artist talks. 
• Bring the kids to the Youth Zone on the 2nd floor balcony for hands-on lessons about zines, comics, screen printing, and more. 
• Go next door to the Seattle Artist League for an open house from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
