Get ready to experience the energy and diversity of Brazil on August 16 between 11:00 a.m. and 6 p.m. at the Seattle Center Armory.
The mission of BrasilFest is to expose the community to Brazilian arts and traditions during the week of Brazilian Folklore Day, celebrated annually on August 22. In Brazil, this event is an important educational tool in continuing Brazilian folkloric traditions. In Seattle, BrasilFest’s mission goes beyond keeping traditions alive by combining traditional and contemporary Brazilian expressions. The event is an opportunity to bring together all artists and organizations concerned with Brazil in one venue, increasing the visibility of the Brazilian cultural landscape in the community.
BrasilFest 2026 is a free event that will feature live performances, samba, capoeira, authentic Brazilian cuisine, local vendors, and activities for the whole family.
