Best used clothing stores in Seattle
Kid Friendly Footwear, 4832 California Ave SW (West Seattle). Why shop there: Recognized as having a large selection of baby items, kid, and maternity clothes.
Buffalo Exchange, (3 WA locations: Bellingham, Seattle/U-District, Seattle/Ballard). Why shop there: Clothing, designer jeans, and shoes. Some brand name clothes have close-to-retail prices, so watch out. You’ll also find brand new merchandise and accessories.
Cherry Consignment, 4142 California Ave SW (West Seattle). Why shop there: hard-to-find clothes for women and men of very shape, size and lifestyle, including plus sizes and maternity. Offer a rotating selection of higher-end brands and casual to dressy styles. Also a drop-off location for The Ruby Room, providing free formal dresses to low income teens.
Crossroads Trading, (2 Seattle locations: Capitol Hill and University District). Why shop there: Trendy and fashionable, high-quality women’s and men’s brand name and designer clothing and accessories.
Diva Dollz, 624 1st Ave (Pioneer Square). Why shop there: Great place for specialty items such as vintage and corsets. Additionally they have a large selection of jewelry.
Gather, 4863 Rainier Ave. S (Columbia City). Why shop there: women’s clothing and accessories. Good selection of jewelry. Constantly rotating selection always features good quality clothes for the current season.
Gold Dogs, 3519 B Fremont PL N. Why shop there: Eclectic boutique filled with a mix of vintage, repurposed/reworked, and new apparel for women and men. Incredible accessory selection. Known for often having a wide selection of boots.
Goodwill (24 Puget Sound area retail stores). Why shop there: Many locations throughout the region. Good selection of books and clothing, but watch for high prices on some name brand clothing.
Lifelong Thrift Store, 312 Broadway E (new location spring 2015). Why shop there: High-quality apparel and shoes, as well as household items. Plus, all purchases benefit Lifelong, providing services to people living with chronic illnesses, including HIV/AIDS.
Pretty Parlor, 119 Summit Ave E (Capitol Hill). Why shop there: Besides vintage and used clothing they also carry originals by local designers. Great place to come for a truly unique piece of clothing. They also specialize in bridal gowns, an appointment is necessary to view bridal gowns.
Red Light Vintage & Costume, (2 Seattle locations: University District and Capitol Hill). Why shop there: Known for their wide selection of clothing from all decades. As the name suggests, they specialize in vintage and retro clothing, and costumes. So it’s a great place to shop for a costume party or Halloween.
Salvation Army Family Stores. (2 locations: Downtown Seattle and Shoreline). Why shop there: Large selection but they don’t specialize in any type, which means you can sometimes find great vintage stuff at a lower cost than at specialty stores.
Sell Your Sole Consignment Boutique, 2121 1st Ave (Pike Market/Belltown). Why shop here: Known to be a very well curated store. Known for high fashion wear. The friendly owner also provides great service and assistance while shopping.
Show Pony, 702 N 35th St (Fremont). Why shop there: You can expect to find a mixture of local designers and brand names. Wide selection of stylish women’s wear and accessories.
Value Village (17 Puget Sound area stores). Why shop there: Best for household goods (leather goods, books, games, kitchenware). Clothing can be iffy, so sort through it carefully, but it’s a great place to pull together a Halloween costume.

Multiple locations
Goodwill (24 Puget Sound area retail stores). Why shop there: Many locations throughout the region. Good selection of books and clothing, but watch for high prices on some name brand clothing.
Value Village (17 Puget Sound area stores). Why shop there: Best for household goods (leather goods, books, games, kitchenware). Clothing can be iffy, sort through it carefully, but great for Halloween costumes.
Bellevue
Between Friends, 137 106th Ave NE, Bellevue. Why shop there: designer label clothes, shoes, accessories and handbags. Most in nearly new condition.
LifeSpring Thrift Shop, Bellevue Square – Level 1. Why shop there: Find used designer-label clothing for the whole family, plus jewelry, household goods, and books. Supported entirely by donations and staffed by volunteers. All proceeds go directly to families in need within Bellevue.
Bellingham

Doubletake, 1175 NW Gilman Blvd, Issaquah. Why shop there: current trends and vintage styles from every decade for everyday wear as well as party costumes. Knowledgeable and helpful staff.
Rewind Clothing Store, 485 Front St N, Issaquah. Why shop here: Nice selection of bags, shoes and clothing.
Lynnwood
Charlie Ann’s, 6815 196th St SW, Lynnwood. Why shop there: Better quality women’s brand clothing and curated vintage pieces, plus shoes, handbags, and other accessories.
Mercer Island
Mercer Island Thrift Shop, 7710 SE 34th St, Mercer Island. Why shop here: Jewelry selection is extensive. Regularly run large discounts on clothing.
Puyallup
Ashley’s Room, 111 North Meridian, Puyallup. Why shop there: trendy and modern brands in women’s clothing, shoes, handbags, and accessories.
