In the past two years, most community Easter egg hunts were cancelled. A variety of creative community events were invented to keep our communities safe and healthy while enjoying some seasonal fun. This year, many free community Easter egg hunts have returned, including some teen flashlight hunts.

2022 Easter Egg Hunts
The following list of community egg hunts throughout the Puget Sound region are open to the public. Most are free, unless otherwise stated.
Tips for enjoying Egg Hunts
- Some require advance registration. Follow the link to check details for any event you plan to attend.
- Many egg hunts host events by age groups at different time. Follow the link to check ages and times.
- Most egg hunts are held come rain or come shine. It’s Seattle after all, bunnies know they can get wet. But they don’t care. They want the eggs!
- Unless specifically stated otherwise, it’s usually a good idea to bring a basket or bag to collect your goodies.

Auburn Peter Cotton Trail. Friday, April 15 – Monday, April 18, 2022. Hop around Auburn’s parks and trails in search of the elusive bunny, who’ll be hidden in various locations around Auburn. Find the bunny, have a chance to win prizes and have a blast doing it! This will be a fun and safe event for families, Seniors, our Specialized Recreation Community or anyone looking for an opportunity to get outside and get active in an outdoor setting. Everett. April 16, 2022, 11:00 AM 12:00 PM. Earth Day Egg Scramble – Free, Family Fun Event at Evergreen Arboretum and Gardens. Come scramble in the arboretum for eggs. Then trade your eggs in for cartons, dirt, and seeds to plant and take home. Celebrate Earth Day and Easter together in our first Family Fun Event of 2022. Fort Lewis. JBLM Easter Dash Egg Hunt at Cowan Stadium. Apr 16 2022, 12 pm – 3:30 pm. The JBLM community is invited to the annual Easter Dash. The egg hunts will be divided into quadrants based on age (18 months-10 years). Bring your own baskets for each child. Marysville EGGstravaganza Drive-Thru. April 16, 2022. Spring is in the air and the Easter Bunny is on the way! Grab your Easter basket, hop in your bunny mobile and vroom over to Allen Creek Elementary for the EGGstravaganza Drive-Thru hosted by Marysville Parks, Culture and Recreation! Kids ages 12 and under will receive sweets and treats (while supplies last) as well as have a special appearance by the Easter Bunny. You won’t want to miss this exciting day! Newcastle. April 16, 2022. Hosted by Seattle Revival Center, Ronnie’s Royal Adventure is a fun obstacle course egg hunt quest for families! Children will be given a treasure map to find eggs and win prizes at various stations. Once completed, you will be celebrated by Ronnie and his friends!

Puyallup South Hill Mall April 1-16, 2022. invites children to find the eggs hidden around the mall to earn a fun Easter surprise. Start at Customer Service to receive an Easter Scavenger Hunt sheet (one for each interested child). Then explore the mall until you’ve found all the eggs and filled out your sheet, turn in the completed sheet to Customer Service for a fun Easter prize. Sammamish. Join the YMCA for Eggstravaganza at the Sammamish Commons. Hop on over with your family to enjoy the fun. Egg hunts, a toddler egg hunt, carnival games, and community guests are all part of the fun. This event is free and open to the public. Seattle Parks & Rec FREE egg hunts are back for 2022 at various community centers around the city. Participants are encouraged to bring a bag or basket (or flashlight for teen night events). University Place. Spring Egg Hunt at Chambers Creek Regional Park. Free event. Bring your basket to participate in egg hunts featuring special golden eggs that can be turned in for prizes, plus bounce house, face painting, and an opportunity to take “selfies” with the Easter Bunny. 2022 event will be a drive-through event.
