‘Magic in the Market’ is Pike Place Market’s longest holiday tradition. The free family-friendly event happens Saturday on Thanksgiving Weekend. You will find holiday spirit across all 9-acres on this unforgettable day. Bring the whole family to experience the magic, meet Santa and sna; a photo, listen to caroling, sip some eggnog, and shop for loved ones—all leading up to the famous Market lighting ceremony at 5pm. Santa “Karl” will enter the Market around 11am with a welcoming performance from the Can Can Culinary Cabaret dancers under the iconic Public Market Center Clock & Sign. Santa will be at the Market for photos from 11am – 4pm. Find Crafty, our Market Mascot, on the MarketFront Pavilion. He’ll be greeting Market visitors and posing for pictures in front of a woodland forest created by Market artist Graig Anderson. Free event, with some optional paid activities.
