During Ted Buehner 40-plus year career as a Meteorologist from the National Weather Service (NWS), among other responsibilities, provided decision support services for our weather forecast and warning system. In this presentation, he reviews the variety of significant hazardous weather gets in the Pacific Northwest. Many people feel that all it does here is rain. Yet, that is not the case. We also have heat waves, wildfires, winter storms, windstorms, flooding, landslides, and tsunamis.
