Free Admission first Thursdays to the Volunteer Park Conservatory

The Conservatory has been a core part of the Volunteer Park landscape since 1912. It has undergone major restoration efforts over the years, but maintains its original Victorian charm as well as some of its original elements like the “peacock” window over the entrance and the Carnegie Steel frame. This historic greenhouse provides a truly unique opportunity for visitors to walk through a carefully curated living botany museum and experience plants from all over the world in one special space.

Entry to Volunteer Park Conservatory is FREE from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the first Thursday of the month (no tickets or reservations necessary!).

The Volunteer Park Conservatory is located at 1400 E. Galer St., Seattle, WA 98112.

Standard admission is $6 for adults and $4 for ages 6-17, college students, seniors (65+), military, and adaptive visitors. Children 5 and under get in for FREE. If you get an annual pass ($30 for individuals and $40 for families) you get unlimited admission and the Friends of the Conservatory get $5 per pass to support maintaining the Conservatory.
