2022 Christmas dinner in the Seattle-Tacoma metro area

13 Coins (Bellevue, Seattle, Seatac) offers Christmas Dinner specials and selections from their regular menu. More info: Holiday Menu – 13 Coins
Andaluca (downtown Seattle) features seasonal Northwest foods combined with the flavors and spices of Spain, Greece, Turkey, and many other Mediterranean countries. Breakfast is available seven days a week. Serving Dinner on Thursday, Friday and Saturday Evenings. Open Sunday, December 25th, from 3pm-7pm for a special prix fixe dinner. Dinner reservations strongly suggested.
Black Angus Steak House (Federal Way, Puyallup) features aged steaks and a whole lot more from starters to desserts. Open Christmas Eve but not Christmas Day.
BluWater Bistro (Seattle/Leschi) offers a take-home feast for 6 including roast turkey or prime rib, sides, wine, and pie for $180 pr $240. Order by December 22 for pickup. They have not posted their dine-in menu for Christmas Eve/Day but are taking reservations. In 2021, they offered a 3-course dinner at $49 and limited items from their regular menu.
Buca di Beppo (Seattle/South Lake Union) is known for Italian pasta, entrees, bread, salads, pizza, and desserts served family-style. Dine-in or to-go. Open Christmas Day. Call the restaurant or book online via OpenTable. Online orders: https://order.bucadibeppo.com/
Café Flora (Seattle) vegetarian restaurant in Madison Valley. Pre-order baked goods for pickup Dec 24. Their regular weekend hours for brunch and dinner are 8AM – 2:30PM and 5PM – 9PM. There is no mention on their website of changes for Christmas weekend. They do not take reservations and are first-come-first-serve.
Cutters Crabhouse (Seattle/Pike Place Market). Stunning views and a Northwest inspired seafood menu open for lunch and dinner.
Daniel’s Broiler Steak & Seafood (Swartz Bros) (Bellevue, Seattle/Lake Union, Seattle/Leschi, Seattle/Downtown–Hyatt Hotel) offers dine-in service and a takeout menu of traditional steakhouse favorites. Closed Christmas Day. Open Christmas Eve. Reservations strongly suggested.
Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ/Bellevue dining style is shared plates. Save money by choosing a “course” menu of pre-selected starters and meats.
Harmon Hub Restaurants (Tacoma, Gig Harbor) open for dine-in, takeout, or delivery. Serving a menu of pub favorites. They are usually open daily and haven’t listed special hours or menus on their website or Facebook page for Christmas.
Jetty Bar & Grille (Everett) in the Hotel Indigo at Port Gardner is accepting reservations for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Jimmy’s on Broadway (Seattle/Capitol Hill) offers modern American cuisine in an energetic atmosphere. Open Christmas Day for dinner 12-8pm with a varied menu including prime rib, meatloaf, seafood, blackberry pie, and more.
Lost Lake Cafe & Lounge (Seattle) is open Sundays in the morning only. No mention of special hours or menu for Christmas.
McMenamins Pubs (Olympia/Spar Cafe, Seattle/Six Arms). Spar Cafe is open Sundays 7am-1pm. Six Arms is open Sundays 11a-11p.
Mecca Café (Seattle) on lower Queen Anne offers a casual menu. Full bar. Service is first come, first served-no reservations. The Mecca is open 6am-2am every day including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Years Eve with special Turkey and Prime Rib holiday dinners available all day! Red Lobster Seafood Restaurants (Federal Way, Lynnwood, Tacoma) will be open on Christmas Day, December 25th, for dine-in and To Go at select locations.
Roti Restaurant (Seattle) on lower Queen Anne offers a menu of authentic Indian dishes including tandoori, curries, and vegetarian options. Open Christmas Eve and Christmas Day for lunch and dinner.
Ruth’s Chris Steak House (Downtown Seattle). Ruth’s will be open Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day. They offer dine-in 3-course surf & turf dinners. For takeout, they also offer Roasted Beef Tenderloin dinner for four at $195 and “holiday sides” to go starting at $28.
Shama Seattle (Seattle/Pike Market). Modern Moroccan cuisine and craft cocktails. “Machoui” family style dining served with sides (Advance order only, 4+ minimum, $65 per person).
Solarium Kitchen & Bar (Bellevue) at the Hilton offers a casual northwest menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Their Christmas Brunch menu is served 10am-2pm. More info: 2022 Christmas Brunch Menu (squarespace.com)
Texas de Brazil (Tacoma) blends traditions of Brazilian cuisine with generous Texas hospitality, including an extravagant salad area followed by an endless parade of gauchos who visit your table with skewers of freshly grilled meats carved tableside. Open Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Reservations strongly suggested. For every $100 gift card purchased online you’ll receive an additional $25 bonus card.

Here is our list of Chinese restaurants and Asian eateries in Seattle’s ID. We’ve focused on larger, popular restaurants that many turn to for holiday meals. According to their websites, all appear to be accepting orders for takeout. Definitely call ahead or order online.

Christmas dinner at chain restaurants
Especially for lower cost, as well as last minute availability, chain restaurants can be a good option on holidays. Expect all locations to be extremely busy, sometimes with long wait times. Reservations are recommended if available. But most of casual eateries are first come, first served.
Some restaurants offer a special Christmas dinner menu, some offer their regular menu, and some have both options. Different restaurant locations in the same chain may have reduced hours. Be sure to call ahead to confirm menu selections and hours.
A quick check of the restaurant website indicates the following chain restaurants will be open on Thanksgiving Day. However, hours, menu selections, and reservation requirements can vary by location since many chain restaurants are franchises that are locally owned and managed. It is recommended that you call ahead to a specific location to confirm details.
Many also offer takeout or delivery.
